Thank you for the poem - and for the pointer to another book I need to add to my list.


Loved the poem and must check out the book in a few years. I'm eager to teach my boys about the stars as well (I remember those stories too, only I think it was my older brother who taught me). We have a perfect place for viewing them, out here in the country.

One of these days, we'll have to head out to Utah (and I'd love to meet you) because my oldest son's name is Bryce and I've always wanted to show him Bryce Canyon. I visited Utah as a child (we went to the tabernacle and also attended a fun musical performance), but I'm not sure we stopped at Bryce Canyon.


Wow, your "How I would like to pick up my old daring and walk steadfast across the earth" line really rang a bell with me. Found you via BPS and will be a regular on your blog - what a gold mine. Thanks so much :)
