Still a successful hike. And once a month? REALLY? You guys are hard core!


Oh my goodness! I'm so awed and impressed!



I am a little jealous that you got to see Timp like that. I saw how much snow was leading up to the saddle on my last leg of Ragnar and I thought: No hiking this month. But how cool that you tried. I bet it was beautiful in its snowy glory. Next time you will be successful, right? But still plan on snow; when we went on July 26 2 years ago, it still had patches of snow on the way to the saddle (but nothing like what you are describing...I'd be skeered!)


Fabulous photos. I've never, ever seen anything like this.


What gorgeous photos. Make sure you take some every single time and then compare in October! This was anything but a failed hike : )
