Classy

So, this afternoon I went for a run. Four and a half miles, up two big hills, down two big hills. Past lots and lots and lots of traffic.
And it was only after I got home, stretched, drank my protein shake, did some push ups, and looked at myself in the mirror that I realized why my shirt had been bugging me:
it was on backwards.
Sweet!
so, where's the picture?
good thing i wasn't drinking a Dr. Pepper, it would now be dripping down my computer screen. btw, you're much too much of a good woman...running after work? drinking a protein shake? hills? more hills? blech. that's why i still have a tummy jiggle 5 years AFTER giving birth to my last child.

LOL! That sounds so much like something I would do. I wish I could do a push up, much less run over hills for over four miles. You go girl!

I did that with my shorts once. I even ducked down in the middle of a field and turned them around. We've both got class. :)

I dress for the gym in a very dark room so not awaken the whole house. I have not only gone to the gym once or twice with my shirt on inside out or backwards but much of the time.

circa 1990...
Ricks college. 8am class. Not so early now that I'm 39 and going to spin at 5am but when you're up all night being social and hanging out with roomies and let's just say it... boys.... 8 am is an early class. Children's literaure. Every Tues/Thurs... I would get out of bed, throw on whatever was on the floor from the night before, brush my hair and teeth and trundle out the door. listen foggily for an hour and come home, get back in bed...
I had this great red sweater that said London on the back and had a guy holding a yellow umbrella on the front. iT was long and went practically to my knees for the whole legging look and turtleneck. got home one day to find I had worn it inside out AND backwards.
Sweet!

Have I ever told you the story from my student teaching days? My roommate and I both had the same shoes - hers blue and mine black.
One day, I was walking home from a full day of student teaching and thought to myself - "Hey, I thought I wore black shoes today ... wait, I did, but just one is black, the other is ... omg, I wore two different colored shoes the entire day and nobody said one thing about it."
The next day, I scolded my students, "I truly thought we had a good rapport going, but yesterday, I did something highly unusual and nobody said a word." They broke into laughter and explained that the whole school had been abuzz about it.
When I passed out evaluation sheets, many of the students made comments like "great dressing skills," "color coordination," and "love that you can laugh at yourself!"
