What a great list! I almost teared up a bit over SDB I almost teared up over the paragraph about Becky, too!

I enjoyed reading your list. Several years ago I made a list of 100 things I was grateful for without listing individual people but rather my family, my nieces, my nephews, my aunts, etc. It was harder than I thought it would be but every now and then I pull it out and read thru it again. It is still true today but I think I could add to it now. Maybe I will. Thanks for the reminder.

I love your list. I might try and do this. I can relate to so many of the items; I was thinking about the friends I would put on my list and why and how they came into my life.

I am glad you are back to blogging; I've missed reading you!!

Wow. That was really awesome reading, Amy. Thanks for taking the time to share it with us : )

I love you, Amy! I had wanted to be friends with you for a long time, too. I'm so grateful we met on a deeper level through blogging, and have been able to continue that in the real world. As the weather continues to be so nice, I keep thinking we need to hike again.

Your comment on fragrances made me smile. I married a man with fragrance sensitivities, so I had to be very selective in what I wore (Clinique's Happy was the only thing we both liked). Then my body chemistry changed, and everything I tried started smelling like urine--yikes! So now I stick to minty or citrusy essential oil fragranced lotions, when I can find one, and enjoy using them while dh is at work. It's not the same, but it's better than NOT smelling.

I am inspired to write my own list-o-fifty, so I'll let you know when I get it done.

I read this yesterday and you made me cry so I came back today to comment. I think I orchestrated the clothing give so I had an excuse to come visit for more than a quick hello. I admired you so from your blog and I KNEW we would be friends if I could only figure out a way to strike up a conversation. :) It worked! I learn so much from you all the time. Thank you for being such a blessing in my life.

I wanted to comment and tell you how much I have enjoyed reading your blog. My sister Jamie has a link from hers to yours and I started reading and kept reading. You are insightful and honest and I appreciate your willingness to express opinions that are real and sometimes painful. Thanks.
