Becky K

I loved spending the day with you and mom! It was so fun and so relaxing.

And: that you wrote that you are trying to feel more happiness and less hardness - it makes me happy to hear. It is hard to do, but really, life is what we make it. You deserve all good things! And I'm glad you are choosing to find the good things.

Lovely post, Amy. I don't know why, but my world felt like it was shutting down in my 40's but when I hit 50 it just opened up to something wonderful and full. Life is good even in the midst of the bad stuff and what you're doing - looking for happy spots - it's a great idea. Wait until you hit 50 - you'll see! ... No wait ... because you're focusing on the Happy in the Now, you'll see long before you hit 50!
