Lovely post Amy.....I'm feeling it too with 3 daughters married and my two babies in middle school and high school! My Rebecca will graduate this year and already the house is pretty empty because she works so much....can't believe the summer is almost over!

I thought about this post as I walked through Walmart last night. Crappy place to start crying, really. :)

I remember dad saying something the weekend I came back to visit after I moved out to go to college. Mom must have had a hard time with everyone gone. While I'm sure what you are going through is normal, that doesn't make it easier. Try not to focus on the mistakes you've made. Everyone makes them. If we didn't, we wouldn't have our agency, and we'd be following someone else's plan for us. Trust that, like Frodo, you've done the best you could with what you were given at the time.

I miss you!
