It is soooo weird to see the junk room looking like that. And to see the red cabinet in the exact spot that it's always been in. I can remember us playing in there; there was a green spiral rug in the middle of the room and the round coffee table was in on top of it. And remember when Nikki Snow and I found your cabbage patch doll hidden there months before Christmas? Gosh there was a lot of stuff in that room.

I love those bowls! My mother-in-law has some tall pitchers that I've had my eye on for years. That flower motif just screams Grandma. Love that we found them.

Also: if you look under "Jewel Tea" you will get a plethora of items. My favorite is the coffee pot; I already have a creamer and sugar from my mil. I'd love to complete the set!

I was so excited to see the picture of the bowl and the name of it! I have my grandma's dishes (almost the whole set) but never knew their name or anything about them just that they were hers and reminded me of her then I read your blog today and there was a picture of one of her bowls! Thank you!! Oh, and no you're not being overprotective getting her a car you're being a good mama!
