Well, now I have more on my already long To Read list! I really want to read Ed Catmull's Creativity Inc...but I have several books to finish before I get around to it.

I'm in the same boat. I have a bunch of neglected library books that I need to return this week. Books just aren't fitting in right now, but I will remedy that someday.

Yes, you absolutely MUST read "How to be a heroine" - it's brilliant.

After being in much the same boat (all those lovely titles going across the desk, some of them always find their way into my bag...) for much of last year I thought I'd try to limit the number of books at home at any one time to 3 non-fiction and 7 fiction. I admit I haven't been entirely true to this, but more or less. One unlooked for benefit - I don't feel so overwhelmed when I look at the pile!

I haven't heard of any of these (hello, I have very narrow and boring bookish taste), but I just added a bunch to my list.

I think one of the saddest things about my adult life is that I will never ever be able to read all the books I want to, even if another book never was written...there's just too much to digest. And instead of thinking "Yay! Books forever!" I think "BUT WHY CAN'T I READ ALL OF THEM!??!?!" and then freak out and curl up with ice cream and the latest book obsession and try and read faster so I can read another...and another...and... sigh.

I'm super a mature "adult." Clearly.
