thank you for this. i, too, wasn't sure if I need to visit Harold's world again but now I know it's just another wonderful novel from an author I've grown to love so I am looking forward to reading it :)

I've read both books, in publication order as you did. I wish I'd remembered a bit more about Harold's story while I was reading Queenie's; I couldn't remember his viewpoint on their relationship very well. Queenie's story was sad in some ways, beautiful in other ways. It might be nice to listen to the audio versions where you could listen to them back-to-back.

Oh, thank you for mentioning this. I didn't know there was another book. I will definitely search it out and read it, as I absolutely loved the first book (and raved about it to everyone who would listen). I swear, I'll probably be one of those devoted readers who attempt to walk the same path as Harold some day in order to try to replicate the experience for myself - ha!
